STS studies the operation and safety of intersections and roadways to identify hazards and evaluate possible improvements. Work Zone Traffic Control
Sustainable Traffic Solutions has designed construction phasing and work zone traffic control for major Denver Water and Aurora Water projects. The work has included the design of traffic control for closure of roads and multiuse paths, detours, and the design of shooflies. STS works with local agencies to negotiate construction phasing and traffic control that is acceptable to all parties.

School Studies
Joe Henderson has performed traffic studies for schools throughout Colorado and Wyoming. These studies have involved the study of traffic flows to determine the impacts of constructing the school or to determine changes necessary to improve site circulation.
The studies have included off-site impacts, projected queues created by student pick-up and drop-off, on-site circulation, parking needs, and pedestrian flow and safety.
Experience includes schools at all levels from elementary through university level.
